A relaxing and restful day for all: massage therapists, yoga teachers, dancers, movement lovers, for all curious and interested people.
In this workshop we combine mindful bodywork and applied anatomy.
During the first part of this day we will explore the movement possibilities of the human body with passive joint movements and muscle stretching.
In the second part of the workshop we will focus on the fascia and apply simple myofascial techniques to create more mobility.
Throughout the day, we train body awareness and at the same time experience stability and relaxation in our posture.
In this workshop you will learn:
to perceive limits and possibilities of the range of motion
to use passive, wavelike swaying movements
apply passive stretches in a safe and mindful way
use basic myofascial release techniques in combination with assistive movements
relax yourself and let go
Anyone and everyone is welcome to participate in this workshop. You can use this course as a complementary training for your method. You do not need any previous knowledge.
The day will be taught in English and German.

Peter Stalder is the founder of STAMBHA Holistic Massage School and the method. He has been training massage therapists for several years in Classical/Swedish Massage and Esalen Massage. He then created his own holistic method and approach to massage, also integrating his knowledge and experience of energy work and yoga.
In his work as a massage therapist Peter wants to create space where healing can happen. When teaching massage and yoga, he wants to create space where participants have the opportunity to expand their boundaries, to get in touch with the physical and energetic body in a loving way.
